Meet Minh
I would like to formally introduce myself, Minh Nguyen, of Keller Williams Empower on 728 S. Broad St. Philadelphia, PA 19146. To introduce myself, I was born in South Vietnam, near the Southern Capital of Saigon. Saigon is one of the fastest growing cities in Southeast Asia, and has become a popular tourist destination and international hotspot.
My mother was conceived by an American military grandfather & my Vietnamese grandmother during the Vietnam War and when he left, my mother was given up to a host family where she had no education. My father was an ox farmer in South Vietnam & they fell in love. My family and I came to the United States after staying in a transitional camp in the Philippines and evacuated from the Mount Pinatubo volcano eruption to Pennsylvania, where we eventually made our way to Philly. No matter where we come from, Real Estate has connected us all to the American Dream. I majored in International Business/Law & Dance at the Fox School of Business & Temple Tokyo. I am a trained Modern & Umfundalai West African Dancer & have trained at Boyer College of Music & Dance Temple University, performed in MFA Thesis concerts & university shows, American College Dance Festival (ACDFA), apprenticed at local dance studios & companies, & danced in my listing videos & marketing media.
During college, while searching for my identity & finding opportunities to improve my Vietnamese fluency, I volunteered & then worked at the local chapter of a National Nonprofit Organization serving the Vietnamese community. There, I developed programming on education & workforce development, anti-biased violence initiatives, language access & naturalization, community development, social justice, & housing equity. I was also in the Marine Corps Officer Candidate School (OCS) and graduated from Quantico, VA. Thank you to our men and women in uniform. Semper Fidelis. I have 2 beautiful younger sisters: one is a Physical Therapy Doctor & one works in Mental Health Services for victims of domestic violence & sexual assault. I am a Judge of Elections in the 40th Ward & a 4.5 NRTP Player & United States Tennis Association (USTA) National Champion. I joined a Pickleball Group & love weightlifting.
